User terms
Important - please read before using this website !

NAVTEQ (DE) GmbH (NAVTEQ (DE)) is the operating company of the website "map24.com" and other websites under different top-level-domains with the same name (collectively: the Website) and an ASP-platform Map24. The Website and the ASP-Platform Map24 provides for certain geographical services via the Internet or on mobile devices (the Services). These services and data are subject to the copyrights of NAVTEQ (DE) and/or its licensors. All rights stay with NAVTEQ (DE) and its licensors with use, there is no transfer of ownership. NAVTEQ (DE) grants to every user of the Services provided on the Website, to mobile devices or on third party websites which are contractually authorized by NAVTEQ (DE), a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Services only for private, non-commercial purposes. The use of the Services by governmental or other public authorities and by non-profit organizations shall also be deemed an illegal commercial use. This includes that any internal use of the Services by commercial entities, governmental, or other public authorities and by non-profit organizations is forbidden, including e.g. the use for travel accounting purposes. The same applies to the data used in the Services, including but not limited to data provided by third parties and the used map material. The use of the Services in connection with products, systems or applications developed for vehicles, which allow navigation, positioning, forwarding, real time routing, fleet management or any comparable purpose, is forbidden.

Further, the visualization of the Website or the Services or parts or results thereof via frames or similar links to other websites is forbidden. Also it is forbidden to include in any third party website a link to the Website which does not merely link to the starting page of the Website (so called: Deep Link). Deep Links are exclusively allowed by using the chargeable or cost free products offered on the Website.

The user shall neither copy, dismantle, translate, transfer or change the content and/or data of the Website and/or the Services, nor shall he/she detect the source code or the structure of the content and/or data of the Website and/or the Services nor shall he/she produce his/her own products by using any of the content and/or data of the Website and/or the Services, nor shall he/she derive any product there from. The user shall not delete, add, or change any of the copyright or trademark indications, other logos, or other indications depicted by the Services.

Neither NAVTEQ (DE) nor third party providers of the map material are in any way liable to any user who uses the Website and the Services without having entered into a contractual agreement with NAVTEQ (DE), especially not for the accurateness of the content of the Website. The user is hereby explicitly advised that the map material may only be an imperfect reproduction of reality and this mistakes and inaccuracies in the maps are not avoidable.

The Services or the Website contains links to online content of third parties. NAVTEQ (DE) chose those third parties with due care. The third parties install, administrate and maintain their online content exclusively in their own responsibility. This content is unknown to NAVTEQ (DE) and is not controlled by NAVTEQ (DE).

The mere fact that NAVTEQ (DE) is making the Services available on the Internet shall not be deemed to be a binding offer to execute a contract. With regard to the contractual use of the Services, either with remuneration or free of charge, the Standard Terms of Trade of NAVTEQ (DE) apply in the current version as available on the Website from time to time.
